Jet Lag + Caffeine = Bad Combination

Many of us have been able to shake the weariness of jet lag after our third day in the city. Some of us however, are depending on caffeine to
help in the transition (exhibit A: Anna on the subway this morning. The
girl keeps us laughing!)Today is Saturday in London and we decided to
take advantage of our numbers and split up for morning activities. Mrs
Houck, Courtney, and Matthew headed BACK to London Tower and the Bridge
to attend some of the guided tours and wander parts of the property that
we didn't have time to cover yesterday. Matthew is determined to climb
to the top of London Bridge and see the view. He must have really good
shoes, because our feet are killing us! Mr. Reisinger, Mrs Landrum,
Katie, Sasha, Anna, Emily, and Brittany went to Camden Court for their
famous Saturday morning market. This area was exceptionally different
from the Portabello Market we went to yesterday. Camden was a center
during the height of punk rock here in London and so the area has a
decidedly 'different' feel. I won't tell you all of our finds as that
would ruin the surprise, but we did manage to take away a prom dress, a
silver celtic ring, and many souveniers. The groups met back up at
lunch time for some real American food: TGI Friday's. After lunch, Mrs.
Houck, Courtney, and Matthew headed back to the London Tower and Bridge
(yes, back again!) to tour the area some more. For those of you who
don't know, Mrs. Houck is a real Henry VIII buff (I think she has a
crush), Matthew was very anxious to visit the military displays of
weapons and armor, and Courtney is mesmerized by the Crown Jewels (she
always has enjoyed accessories). The rest of our group decided to head
back to the apartment for a short rest. Our plan for this evening is to
attend a production of Les Miserables and then grab dinner. If
possible, we will update you after our night on the town!

Courtney,
I love this. Following your trip is like reliving the one Whit and I took, years ago. (The Crown Jewels were her fav.) Miles is in NYC for the big day. Can't wait to see what is next on your agenda!
